Mardi Gras Zulu Warrior Voodoo Pendant/Necklace: This highly collectable 4 1/4" by 3 5/8" lustrous polystone ceramic-type pendant 3/4" thick was a remarkable throw by a rare member of the raucus New Orleans Zulu Warrior Krewe. Zulu's parade has about 24 colorful floats, each carrying up to 50 Zulus. When the Zulu Warrior Krewe celebrated its 100 year anniversary in 2009, the New York Times said it isn't their raucousness that alarms visitors. "{T]his is, after all, New Orleans, and this is, after all, Mardi Gras. Rather, it’s this: Many of those on the floats and marching with them are in blackface.
